Cricket: A cricket is someone who ignores you, when you text/call them they don’t return your call.  As in the movies, when there is silence you hear “crickets”

Grasshopper: Someone who wants to spend time w/ you during the day and is fun to be around. (Not to be confused w/ the cricket)

Diff. between a cricket and a grasshopper: Note the time of day you hear the bug. If you hear an insect singing at night, chances are it is a cricket. Since crickets are nocturnal, they use their songs to communicate and mate at night. Grasshoppers do most of their calling during the day, but since they have daylight on their side, they also rely on their keen sight to check out other grasshoppers.

Mosquitos: A person that sucks the life out of you. 

Fly: Someone that annoys you and never goes away.

Catepillar: Someone that is boring and lazy, no fun… never gets out to do anything…really boring! Never has ambition to get up and do anything…

Butterfly: Someone who flutters through your life and brings beauty and happiness.  They go as they please and please as they go…but hold them too loosely and they’ll fly away, too tightly and they’ll die.
