The past 2 days I’ve been bombarded with, “I’m sorry I didn’t make it to your party texts.” So….to everyone at the same time….it’s okay…you’re the one that missed out. I’m sorry you couldn’t make it either. Also, eye for an eye…when it’s your birthday don’t be upset if I don’t make it and/or if I show up for just an hour and then leave…please don’t be mad. Whoooo!! I’m glad I’m off the hook b/c I always bend over backwards to make everyone’s engagements…and now I don’t have to anymore. JK! I had a terrific bday!! I know…I’m a birthday brat! Tomorrow is actually my “real” bday and you still have time to make it up! 🙂 ahahh!! For those of you who did make it out…Thanks! I had a wonderful time!! I’m sorry for taking my bday so personal…but I do…can’t help it… 😦
I kinda had a blah day yesterday, so I called Juls and told her I was in dire need of some adult libations! By the time I made it home my mind had changed….I was laid up on the couch relaxing…when she got to my apartment she said she wanted to go meet up with her cousins @ Cecil’s pub on W. Gray. I told her I was too tired, but then decided to go w/ her since she doesn’t get to visit that often anymore. We went to Cecil’s for about an hour…hung out w/ her cousins, laughed, and chilled out. I got kinda sleepy after awhile….(I think my old age is catching up w/ me already!) I dropped Juls off @ Vintage for Viet’s bday…I was so exhausted!
Tonight I’m supposed to have a bottle @ Bond Lounge to toast my bday @ midnight, but I don’t know if that’s gonna happen or not….we sha’ll see….

I totally agree with you on this situation. Its YOUR BDAY and you deserve to be treated like the queen you are…even if it just for a day! I would take it personally too.
And I agree with you even more about your comment on how you ALWAYS going the extra mile to helping everyone else’s bdays extra special. I will never forget the time you helped me set up my bday at Escobar andhow much fun it was. Thats one out of so many that you’ve done for friends. Believe me, you are truely appreciated.
Right now, I am going through alot and it just so happened to fall around the time of your bday. But I definitely want to RE-celebrate it with you when I am feeling better. I hope you understand.
