Went out w/ Kristee Leigh last night…had some wine @ the new Benjy’s on Washington…it’s really nice and intimate there…loved it! On our way out we decided to drop in @ Pearl Bar and ended up on the patio hula hoopin….sooooooo much fun!! Somehow we did a detour on the way home and ended up @ Pandora…we just did a cameo and scurried out quickly…good times!!

The new Benjy’s is “nice and intimate”? I guess by intimate you mean they cram you in there?
My first impression when I walked in was that it reminded me of a cafeteria, just a really pretty one. The place was very, very noisy, and the seating was like i wrote pretty tight.
Oh, and the parking…what a nightmare.
The good thing is the food was excellent.
I had hoped for better…I would been happy with a base hit, but they struck out with this one. I am sure it won’t matter since most of the people in that area will go because it is new and trendy, but my next visit to Benjy’s will be at the one in Rice Village,
