Saturday afternoon, I headed over to my parent’s house in Sugarland to get some air and salvation.  It felt so nice to finally be in air conditioning and to be with my loved ones.  My cousin and aunt came over as well.  Dad made steak dinner…it was delicious!! Saturday night we watched “Whatever happens in Vegas.” It was really cute! Everybody retired to bed and I stayed up late watching the Coco Chanel Story….I loved it!! Around 3 am another storm came through and cut the power out at my parent’s house.  We spent 13 hours without electricity on Sunday…the worst part is the “not knowing.” We had 10 people including 3 kids all day w/ out electricity and very limited phone usage.  It’s amazing how dependent we are on those things.  Finally, by the grace of God our electricity turned on around 6pm.  We drank all night and had such a good time reminiscing and laughing!! I have the BEST family!! I still don’t have power at my apartment so I’ll probably be out there again tonight.
