All of this time I’ve thought that JC my bff was a full blooded Mexican de D.F. but come to find out….he of Finnish decent check out the email I got today:

Breaking News!!! This is too crazy!! Well I decided to get my passport this morning, because you never know when I might get the itch and fly to my next destination. Well I decided to look at my original birth certificate, which I had never done before in my life, I had no need to. Well as I’m in the car driving back to work I nearly hit a guy in a moped when I glanced at where my grandma (dad’s side) was from. Could this have answer some questions, like why the red hair on my chin and pubes? My European fashion? My foreign affairs? The love for my favorite Sweden band The Sounds? Etc. Born in Mexico I have a Mexican birth certificate, which has the names of your parents and grandparents and where they were born. Well Moms side all Mexican, BUT the next was a total shock. My grandpa (dad’s side) is Mexican BUT my Grandma was from FINLAND!!! WTF!!! Can yall believe it? We have no ties to my dad’s side of the family (especially his moms). I was like WTF!!! I called my mom immediately and she said “I don’t know anything about your dad’s mom and I don’t think he does either”. That is some crazy shyt if you ask me. At the end I will always be a true Mexican at heart, but this was a total shocker, especially when you’re driving half asleep with eye boogers.
