Last night after work I went to visit my good friend DivaChrissy she had her last chemo treatment on Tuesday and I went to spend time w/ her and put her in good spirits.  Apparently she was already in good spirits.  I was so amazed with her whole attitude towards the situation and life in general.  She looked terrific.  Thank God that she was able to catch it in time before it spread.  I’m a true believer in the power of prayer and I definitely believe that alot of prayers were sent for her. 

I left her place around 9:30pm and then headed home to get ready for our monthly “latin night.”  I got to Mr. Cannavale’s house and he was w/ tweeddle dee and tweele dum…they are both very young and caught up in being their age.  Anyhoo…we got to TM and met up w/ Angel and his crew.  I got my one dance w/ Cannavale’s friend that smelled like brisket b/c he had been at the cook-off all day.  Oh did I mention I was starving? ahaha!!  The guy danced pretty good for a white guy…ahahh!! Not my type though….but it was nice to dance.  Left TM and headed to Belvedere….the place was packed w/ latino’s from all over South America.  The music was really good….old skool songs from groups like Maná, Hombres G, and Enanitos Verdes…luved it!!Hung out w/ Jaysen the main guy in charge.  Tonight is his bday @ The Social…so we’ll prolly checkit out after the cook-off.  After a couple of Social Butterflies…we decided to head home…Lil Miss Lola started dry heaving around 6am….I got her new bowls and she hasn’t wanted to eat for the past 3 days.  I finally decided to put her food in her old bowl and all was back to normal.  She’s such a brat like her mommy.

I got my usual 7am call from JC, but couldn’t even think of words to say….I was so out of it.  He was sayin something about having a flat tire and was making gestures to passer bys as he was talking to me….”Sorry, I have a flat tire” w/ a shrug….I swear he is so insane!! Somehow I got him off the phone and fell back to sleep even though he called back 7 times…I finally crawled out of bed….looked in the mirror and I looked like Courtney Love pre-makeover days….My hair was lookin like medusa and I had mascara all over my face…after a loooooooooong process I got myself back to lookin hottness  and came into work….now my stomach is growlin and my head is poundin…but it was all well worth it…
