Escobar is closing….apparently they have new owners.  I had lots of fun times and met many fun people there.  I may stop by this weekend for one last night of Escobar debauchery especially since I am one of the original Escobabes!

   Oh my god this blog KICKS ASS!

   Dammit I wish I stuck to my idea from 2005 to start a blog about my Houston experiences!

   Dam you are a smart woman!

   Anyways, Escobar WAS the shit. I remember when that place first open and that line would get sooo long. And they would be sooo selective about who gets in and who stands outside like a dumbass. I love selective clubs. They need to weed out the riff-raff if ya know what I mean.

   I moved away for a couple years and just moved back. I went to Escobar last week just to reminice(sp??) and boy had it changed. The music and crowd was sooo different.

   Good memories there though!

   I’m gonna be checking more often…why? I have no clue! I guess it’s because I love the Houston nightlife!

   Well I am glad they are closing. It got wayyyyyyyyy too wild in there. Drugs were available like water was!
   Wherever you turned your head you could get yourself some.
   Vogue Lounge is another club that should close too!
